Converso: Asynchronous Qualitative Intelligence Platform

Asynchronous Qualitative Intelligence Platform

Background

Every organisation needs qualitative data provided by people. Two options exist today.

1. Surveys scale but produce shallow data. They provide checkboxes and ratings that tell you what, never why.

2. Interviews produce depth but cannot scale. They require one conversation at a time, weeks of scheduling, and hours of processing.
Converso is built for everything in between. It is an AI-powered asynchronous interview platform that lets any organisation run structured, voice-based interviews with hundreds of people at once, with no scheduling and no manual processing.

Objective

Give organisations the depth of a 1-on-1 interview at the scale of a mass survey. One admin, one context document, hundreds of voice interviews, and a clean summary dashboard. No human interviewer required at any point.

Challenges Addressed

Organisations conducting qualitative research at scale face the same set of compounding problems:

One conversation at a time

Every human interviewer is a bottleneck. Scheduling 50 interviews takes longer than conducting them.

Surveys lack follow-up

No survey tool can probe deeper based on what a respondent just said. Nuance is lost by design.

Processing takes days

A manager reviewing 50 recorded interviews needs 2 to 3 full days before any decision can be made.

Live pressure distorts answers

Respondents perform differently when observed. Async formats consistently produce more candid responses.

Scale forces a trade-off

Most teams abandon depth beyond 20 to 30 respondents and accept lower quality data by default.

Fixed scripts waste time

If a respondent already answered a later question, a scripted interviewer re-asks it anyway. This damages both the data and the experience.

Solution

Four steps. No scheduling. No manual processing.

Step 1: Set Up the Interview

The admin uploads a document (job description, product brief, policy doc) or types context directly. The AI generates 15 targeted questions from that context. The admin edits, deletes, or adds questions, then sets a deadline and link expiry.

Step 2: Send It Out

The admin enters email addresses individually or uploads a CSV. Every participant gets a unique link. When 60% of the deadline has passed with no response, the system sends an automatic reminder. No manual follow-up needed.

Step 3: The AI Conducts the Interview

The participant opens the link and speaks. The AI starts with a general opening, then adapts to the context document. Responses are transcribed in 1 to 2 seconds and the next question follows immediately. The session feels like a conversation, not a form.

Step 4: The AI Adapts in Real Time

The AI listens across the full session. If a later question was already answered earlier, it skips it and moves forward. If a respondent wants to stop, they say so or click a button and the session ends immediately. The interview closes naturally after 6 to 7 meaningful exchanges.

Step 5: Review the Dashboard

Every respondent appears as a row: name, email, status, timestamp, full clean transcript, and an AI-generated summary. A manager can review 50 interviews in 10 minutes.

Competitive Diffrentiation

Converso sits between two broken options and outperforms both:
